A comprehensive renovation and expansion of a private wealth management firm’s flagship office, designed to support future growth while elevating the client experience and strengthening the firm’s brand presence.
Through thoughtful planning, research, and collaboration, the existing office was transformed into a hospitality-inspired workplace centered around trust, comfort, and connection. The completed environment balances the character of the original building with the functionality, flexibility, and professionalism required of a growing private wealth firm.

Project Overview:
WHZ sought to renovate its existing office and expand into an adjoining 2,100-square-foot area, creating a cohesive flagship environment that could support growth while elevating the experience for clients and employees.
From Concept to Completion:
SRCD’s role extended beyond design selections into the daily coordination of a complex, year-long renovation and expansion. We developed the design vision, selected finishes and furnishings, planned the flow of space, and coordinated branding, accessories, and final styling.
Working closely with the contractor, SRCD served as the client’s design advocate throughout construction, temporary relocation, installation, and the final return to the completed office.
Design Approach:
The office was approached as an extension of the firm’s advisory practice, with every decision considered through the lens of client confidence, comfort, and connection.
Historic character was balanced with a human-centered design approach, using thoughtful space planning, layered lighting, acoustical considerations, warm materials, and residentially inspired furnishings to create an environment that supports trust and strengthens relationships over time.
